23 March 2023 - A Refresher Training course on “Diagnostic and imaging approaches in Animal Reproduction” for State Veterinarians (Dt. 17.01.2023 to 19.01.2023)

A refresher training course on “Diagnostic and imaging approaches in Animal Reproduction” for state Veterinarians was organized during Dt. 17.01.2023 to 19.01.2023 in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, funded by the Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Gandhinagar, Gujarat State.

A total of 25 veterinarians from the different parts of Gujarat participated in the training. This training program was one of its kind and during the training all the arts of Diagnostic and imaging techniques like Basics and principles of ultrasonography, Ultrasonographic evaluation of reproductive tract, Early pregnancy in bovine and equine, Diagnostic vaginal cytology in bitch and endometrial cytology in mare and diagnostic approach for various infertility and obstetrical problems in domestic animals, were discussed extensively and in depth with the trainees.

Faculties of the Department Dr. B. N. Suthar, course director, Dr. H.C. Nakhashi, Co-course director, Dr. C.F. Chaudhari and Dr. T.V. Sutaria, Course coordinators were instrumental and played a vital role in smooth conduct of the training. All the trainees participated with great enthusiasm and zeal and expressed their satisfaction at the end of the programme. During the valedictory function, Dr. B. N. Suthar, Prof. & Head briefed about the training program and Dr. D.V. Joshi, Principal released the training compendium, and distributed the training certificates.

He also congratulated and extended the best wishes to the veterinarians to utilize the knowledge and skill attained during the course in the field services.

Function ended with vote of thanks by Dr. H.C.Nakhashi, Professor, Dept. of Gynaecology, Veterinary College, KU, Sardarkrushinagar.
