03 March 2023 - ABHYUDAYA National Livestock Conference and 29th Annual Convention, ISAPM-2023 on "Futuristic approach to viable Animal Production vis-a- vis Climate and calamity

Challenges" was Organized by College of Veterinary Sciences and AH, OUAT, Bhubaneswar and ISAPM during 18-20, January, 2023. Dr. A. P. Chaudhary, Professor & Head, Department of Livestock Production Management, has been elected as President of the Society in the annual General Body Meeting. The Society head quarter will be at College of Veterinary Science and AH, Kamdhenu University, Sardarkrushinagar for the next two years. Other Office bearer of The Society is Dr. K.J. Ankuya and Dr. A.K. Srivastava, General Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.

8th National LPM Quiz Competition:

During the conference “8th National Quiz in Livestock Production and Management” for B.V.Sc. & A.H. students was organized on January 20th, 2023, in which team of Mr. Ravi Kant, IV Professional Year and Govind H. Prajapati, III Professional Year students, College of Veterinary Science and AH, KU, Sardarkrushinagar has won Runner up Trophy.

Best research paper Awards

During the ISAPM National Conference, at OUAT Bhubaneswar, Faculty and students of LPM Department has bagged following Four Awards

1. Best Poster Presentation Award to Dr. AK Srivastava for research paper entitled Prepartum feeding Behaviour of Kankrej cows at an organized farm - A.K. Srivastava*, A.P. Chaudhary, K.J. Ankuya, H.D. Chauhan, V.K. Patel, M.M. Pawar, J.P. Gupta and J.B. Patel

2. Best Poster Presentation Award to Dr. Vikram Patel for research paper A success story of National Awardee Dairy Farm Women - V.K. Patel, A.K. Srivastava*, A.P. Chaudhary, K.J. Ankuya and A.B. Paregi,

3. 2nd Best Poster Presentation Award to Dr. A.B. Paregi for research paper entitled Breeding practices followed by Dairy Farmers in Tribal area of North Gujarat Region- A.B. Paregi, K.J. Ankuya, A.K. Srivastava*, A.P. Chaudhary and D.B. Rajgor.

4. 3rd Best Poster Presentation Award to Dr. Nilam V. Chaudhary for research paper entitled Economics of Buffalo rearing under Semi-arid region of Gujarat. Nilam V Chaudhary, A.P. Chaudhary, A.K. Srivastava K.J. Ankuya, J.P. Gupta, V.K. Patel and D.B. Rajgor.
